The first road course race of the season kicked off at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park under wet track conditions. A long green flag run until the late stages of the race saw Gary Klutt consistently move up through the field, until he made a late re-start from second place. On NASCAR’s second Overtime restart Gary took the lead, only to be turned in the final corner. He went on to finish fourth, with RGC drivers Treyten Lapcevich and Brandon Watson also finishing in the top 10. TJ Rinomato and Mark Dilley had strong and consistent runs and were in the thick of the action all day. The series returns to oval track racing at Autodrome Chaudiere on June 11.
